Art I Rocks!
I always loved teaching foundation classes. They were almost always large and had lots of fun students of all ages which could present some challenges. However it gave me a chance to tweek my creative muscles in teaching and trying new things.
One time while presenting at the state art conference, I said that my first year was doing a project called “Decisions” that gave them up to 18 media options. They gasped at the idea that so many choices were given. I will talk about that lesson in time so stay tuned.
Here is a short video clip created in my second school Carver with some art from my first school Dulles. Here at Carver, we did traditional art mixed with digital art on and off the computers.
( That’s why there are computers all around the students)
